Ranger

I have lotsa catching up to do with pics of the 4th, etc. I'll get them up, but we've had a tough week. Ranger died unexpectedly. It was very hard. Half my heart ached for myself and the other half for Lily. He was truly her best friend. It was a big loss, but we had 10 1/2 good years.

Ozzie Nelson!

We have a new member of the family... Ozzie Nelson! He's an 8 week old German Short-haired Pointer. He's pretty sweet. We've been looking for a dog for a while and finally decided on him. The litter were all named after old 50-60's sitcoms except for him...They called him Handsome. So... we went with Ozzie from Ozzie and Harriet... not Ozzy Osbourne, thanks anyway. That's why I stuck Nelson on the end.

More cousins! Attie, Katherine and Dave

Lily was so surprised to get picked up early from school and find that Attie, Katherine and Lil' Dave stopped on their way to Houlton. She was even more surprised when she found out she could go with them! Wyatt loved Dave. He's a really good sword fighter.

More of the house

Everyday, Wyatt goes to the end of the driveway with us to wait for Lily's bus to come.

Flowers, flowers and more flowers

We have lotsa flowering trees right now. I'd better take pics before all the petals fall off.

Lizzie and Barrett came to visit!

Grammy brought Lizzie and Barrett down from Houlton to spend the night on Friday. Uncle Vernon came down for dinner. We had a really good time. After dinner, we went outside for a campfire and smores!

Lily's first concert!

One of the only pics Brett and I are in together

My sister, Sarah, came to visit from Washington a couple weeks ago and was snapping pics.

This is the kitchen remodeling in progress... That is Brett's brother Chris on the left blocking the view of the striking orange metal cabinets which sealed our decision to buy the house... not.

Lily and her new doll

Lily loves to go to Grammie's house and find old toys that used to be mine or Aunt Jenny's or anyone's, really. Grammie let her have Jenny's old doll, and she was rather pleased. I did have her decently dressed today, but she found a too small pj top that she looked much better with her pants.
Wyatt insisted we take his picture, even though he was crying...

I have an azalea bush!

It's nice being home...

It's nice to have a house again... kinda new to this bloggin' thing... not sure what to write now... this was a couple weeks ago.
